Bethesda, Md. (Oct. 21, 2008) – Association TRENDS, a newspaper focused on associations, featured AssociationExecs.com’s newest product in its October 2008 print issue.
An article on the 2008 Salary Survey of D.C. Area Nonprofits used information in the report to show the range of amounts association chief executives were paid this year. The article also presented a graph highlighting the areas in Maryland, Virginia and the District where association executives receive the highest salaries on average.
Association TRENDS reported that the average salary for an association CEO declined between 2007 and 2008 by 10.3 percent. The biggest percentage decline in salary was for the position of standards manager, which slipped more than 23 percent. Both figures are available in the salary survey.
AssociationExecs.com published the 2008 Salary Survey of D.C. Area Nonprofits in September 2008. The survey is in its 48th edition. AssociationExecs.com has published this for the first time in partnership with Cordom Associates, which had published the survey since 1979.
