BETHESDA, MD (August 29, 2017) — Association TRENDS, a division of CBIS, announced today that it has acquired the leading association management software event, AMS Fest from event founder Teri Carden of ReviewMyAMS.
The addition of AMS Fest continues Association TRENDS’ ongoing expansion of training offerings for the association community. The conference will join the current lineup of education programs for association professionals spanning webinars, eLearning, and in-person conferences including Learnapalooza, Membership 2020 and the Nonprofit Finance Summit.
“AMS Fest was natural fit with TRENDS’ already robust training offerings for association professionals.” stated Brittany Carter, president of CBIS. “Teri has done an incredible job of developing this conference and we’re excited to have it become part of TRENDS. AMS selection and integration remain at the top of the list of challenges that associations face. This event not only succeeds in informing association consumer decision making but also educates attendees on the ever-evolving strategies and technologies around association management.”
“Two years ago, AMS Fest started out as just a crazy idea. To this day, AMS Fest tackles the topics that everyone else thinks are too hot to touch.” stated Teri Carden, founder of AMS Fest. “The association community has embraced this event and for that I’m so grateful. TRENDS is the perfect match for AMS Fest and I can’t wait to see how this game-changer event will evolve with the momentum they can put behind it.”
The upcoming AMS Fest on November 13-14 in Washington DC will be jointly produced by Carden and the team at Association TRENDS.
About AMS Fest:
AMS Fest is where association executives, AMS consultants and technology providers engage in discussions around nothing but association management software. The energy is high, the speakers are best in class and topics cover everything from the future of AMS to what is and isn’t working, what’s innovative and new, CRM vs. AMS, middleware, integrations, and more geek talk than any association professional could ask for. AMS Fest is ideal for organizations that are in the lifecycle of evaluating their existing AMS or selecting a new software.
